Reviewing quantities
A quantity is useful only when the reviewer can inspect its basis and understand the level of rigor it is intended to support.

Quantity record
- Documented quantity or measured geometry source.
- Document, page, sheet, detail, or region locator.
- Scale basis and unit normalization.
- Formula and named inputs.
- Allowances, exclusions, assumptions, and cross-checks.
- Conflict flags, confidence method, and verification status.
Missing or conflicting inputs
If the source lacks a usable scale, dimension, unit, geometry boundary, or other required input, GAIA Civil produces a needs-input question or UNKNOWN state. A reviewer can supply approved context, request clarification, or leave the quantity unresolved.
Choose the correct accuracy level
BALLPARK, TAKEOFF, and QUOTE_READY represent different evidence and review requirements. The canonical definitions and release boundaries live on the Accuracy levels page.
